Abstract

This essay offers a reading of the Spanish education system, referring to the context of obligatory instruction. Without any claim to exhaustiveness, some of the critical dynamics that underpin the school system are addressed, starting from the laws and regulations that define its national structure. The Iberian context is subject to guidelines promoted by the numerous regional autonomies. It presents a space of interest for educational insights dedicated to perspectives and issues of inclusion and social integration. Teaching professionalism is a fundamental part of the path of promotion and integration of others in civil society.
