Today's society is strongly influenced by the digital revolution: digital technologies can be a common ground for trying to bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work in terms of skills profiles, but not if they are accepted uncritically and without a pedagogical approach to guide their use.
In a complex and digitally enhanced context, what training paths can be used to embrace complexity and turn it into an educational resource?
This paper aims to propose, through the European lens provided by the LifeComp and DigComp 2.2 frameworks, a key to designing training paths aimed at developing transversal skills and mental habits that enable people to live consciously and critically in the information society
